The agreement.

The service analyses text you provide: how it argues, what it rests on, and, when you turn fact-checking on, whether the figures it cites match outside sources. The output is an analysis of a text. It is not advice, not a rating of any person, and not a substitute for reading the source yourself.

You may submit only text you have the right to use for this purpose: material you wrote, material in the public domain, or material whose terms permit analysis. Do not submit text obtained by circumventing a paywall, a login, or any other access control. The service will not do that for you and you may not do it for the service.

We do not store the text you submit. We keep a cryptographic hash of it, its word count, any metadata the page itself stated, and the analysis, which contains only short quotations sufficient to locate each finding. We do not train models on your content, and our model providers are configured not to either.

You may use analyses for your own reading, research, writing, teaching and decision-making, and you may share an analysis with attribution to the source text and to this service.

You may not:

• present or resell any output as a rating, score or judgment of a person. The subject of every analysis is a text;
• use the service to harass, defame, or target any individual;
• circumvent usage limits, share credentials, or scrape the service;
• strip the source, the date, or the “not verified is not false” wording from any fact-check you republish.

A fact-check reports what a cited source says about a claim, as of the date shown on the evidence. Not verified means the claim could not be checked. It does not mean the claim is false. Sources may be wrong, may be superseded, and may be secondary. Read the cited source before relying on any verdict.

Access requires an account. Paid plans are billed [monthly or annually] in advance through [payment processor]; the price and what it includes are shown at signup. Each plan carries a usage allowance measured in model cost. When the allowance is reached, analyses are refused until the next period or an upgrade. You can cancel at any time and access continues to the end of the paid period. [refund policy]

We may change the method, the model, the scores, or these terms. Material changes to these terms will be announced [by email or in the app] at least [14] days before they take effect. The service is provided as is, we do not guarantee any particular availability, and analyses can be wrong.

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the [12] months before the claim arose. We are not liable for decisions you make based on an analysis.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks clause 3. You may close your account at any time; we delete its analyses within [30] days except where the law requires retention.
